Vincent Lopez Serafino Jenevein, P.C.'s School Law practice is concentrated on school districts where we have litigated cases in state and federal courts in Texas as well as other states. We represent districts in a wide variety of disputes, ranging from contract issues to business and personal torts. In addition, the Firm provides high quality legal representation for individual students, their families and groups of students and/or families or agencies serving students and their families in many areas of education law. Our attorneys use their knowledge of areas such as special education law, constitutional law and business and employment law to help our school law clients. Common issues could involve children with disabilities in special education mediation, conciliation conferences, informal settlement negotiations, claims of sexual harassment or bullying, discrimination in educational opportunities, disciplinary proceedings including proposed expulsions and more.
